National Coalition Building Institute.  Developing Leaders.  Ending Mistreatment.  Strengthening Communities.

About Us

National Coalition Building Institute-Missoula is dedicated to assisting individuals, communities, schools, and organizations in moving toward a just and inclusive society. To accomplish its mission, NCBI develops leaders equipped with the skills to reduce prejudice, prevent violence, and resolve conflict in their community.

Established in 1998, NCBI is the only Montana organization working to engage community members as leaders with the tools to eliminate oppression and strengthen communities. Started as a volunteer-run organization, NCBI currently has two paid staff, an AmeriCorps VISTA, two interns, and more than 60 active volunteers.
